Born in 1971, by the hands of Júlio da Silva Sampaio and Rosalina da Silva Leiras, Confeções Cruzeiro originated in the manufacture of home textile articles. After 15 years dedicated to this area, and passing through the manufacture of all kinds of clothing, Confeções Cruzeiro specializes exclusively in the production of shirts for men, women and children.

It is from the city of Guimarães, that this company exports 90% of its product to the foreign market to countries such as Spain, England, France, USA, Russia, Japan, China, Germany, Ireland, Angola, Mozambique and Namibia, working for major brands of national and international reference.

New technologies and the training of people are essential premises to achieve the quality considered necessary for the growth of the company. It is this quality that makes Confeções Cruzeiro the biggest national producer of men’s shirts. It employs 160 people internally and indirectly reaches a universe of 500, considering subcontracted companies.

A team with the capacity to produce 8,000 pieces daily. Confeções Cruzeiro also has a weaving company that supports the production line. Family run, and knowing its second generation of entrepreneurs, Confeções Cruzeiro is, since 2010, an SME Excellence.
